Introducing Lely Basswood Shutters
We are proud to introduce the addition of Lely Basswood Shutters, a more economical alternative to our premium Alderwood Capri Shutters. The Lely Basswood Shutters will be less expensive than our Capri line, but will still be built using the same fabrication processes.
After months of research, we have found a high quality basswood that will allow us to continue to hand wipe stains on each piece. Other shutter fabricators overcome the blotchiness of basswood by applying toned lacquers, which cover up the beauty of the wood. Our technique of hand wiping the stain on the wood brings out the character and the depth of the wood grains to produce a beautiful finish.
While we’re pleased to continue to offer our premium Capri Shutters to your clients who may demand top-of-the-line products, we can assure you that our new Lely Basswood Shutters will be handcrafted with the same care and attention to detail that we give our Capri Shutters. In addition, Lely Basswood Shutters will still allow for custom stain matches as well as specialty sizes and shapes, the same options available with our Capri Shutters.
